Flashback: IPS

The following images are a few of my still life assignments from Prizewinning Photography 2 this fall.
Dominoes. I got a 5 (the highest possible) for exposure on this one. So happy about that!
Coffee beans. Well at least they smelled good while we were shooting.
Chess pieces. I don't know anything about chess, but apparently I caught on enough to make a cool "victory" shot. :)
Army men. I got rather attached to my "little guys" while trying to take this shot.

Must get to work on other projects, I have a busy day ahead of me. Stuff at home, Creative Memories business, clean a big house with mom, help Grandma put up all her Christmas decorations, finish my shooping list, more home chores and prepare to go away this weekend. Oh and somewhere in there I really should update my financial records...

My reply to your reply about my comment. :)

Im hoping to swing it! :)

I haven't really read any books that I REALLY like. I've been getting Popular photography and Imaging Magazine from our library, it that has some good tips. I just do a LOT of web searching.

So fun to see the pitures! How many IPS courses have you been to? I am hoping to go to Prizewinning Photography in April; we'll see if it works out.

Some very lovely photos here -- I hadn't seen any of your Hawaii pictures yet. WOW!!! That must've been really incredible!

Oh -- and about my studio lighting...the pictures were taken at night (so the Dad would be off work). I ended up bouncing light with my flash, and I also had a reflector to use, too. Nothing fancy yet -- very elementary. But it works until I have more $$$ to invest! :)
