I do not know if I can even explain my week at the IPS Photojournalism class. Words just do not do it justice...but I will try anyway. This week was full, long, short, amazing, incredible, hard, wonderful, stressful, tiring, challenging, great...I know that many of these words conterdict each other but they are all true. I had an awesome class full of great people and two absolutely amazing instructors. We were able to witness the Lord's might, power, grace and abudant blessing as He worked through us giving us His strength for our weakness. This was a class that I will never forget, it has changed my life.
Not my most dynamic image but I am in it and it has a fun story. While shooting COMMIT for my assignment we were told that there was a tornado headed our way and needed to take shelter in the bathrooms. Will handed me Mandy's very nice wide angle lens and told me to go with them. I was stuck in a very hot and humid men's bathroom with 60 girls! I don't know how long we were actually stuck in there but it was definitly long enough! Praise the Lord that the tornado turned away from the campus and everyone was kept safe.
